PROJECT Overview
Design and prefabrication of a double skin pipeline system for diesel fuel supply to generators. The project encompassed complete material sourcing, spool fabrication in line with isometric drawings, and full preparation for on-site installation.
Challenges & Execution Approach
Handling a complex double skin system with diameters ranging from DN25 to DN150 required meticulous planning and stringent quality assurance.
Key measures included:
• Organizing the fabrication sequence to optimize resource use and maintain production accuracy
• Conducting radiographic inspection for all diameters, and full penetrant and visual testing of welds
• Performing hydrostatic testing for every spool to validate pressure integrity
• Applying a three-layer protective coating system according to technical standards
• Coordinating closely with on-site teams to ensure smooth installation and QA/QC oversight
