PROJECT Overview
ML WELD Engineering was engaged in Belgium to prefabricate and install a double skin pipeline supplying diesel generators with fuel for the GBL6A project. The scope included material procurement, precise fabrication according to isometric drawings, on-site installation and full quality assurance.
Challenges & Execution Approach
The project required exacting precision and adherence to stringent technical standards.
Successful execution ensured by:
• Procuring and preparing materials for spool diameters ranging from DN25 to DN150
• Performing radiographic testing for each diameter and complete penetrant and visual inspection of all welds
• Conducting hydrostatic testing on every spool to verify integrity
• Applying sandblasting and a certified three-layer coating system according to technical specifications
• Coordinating engineering, fabrication and site teams to guarantee seamless installation and QA/QC on site

• Prefabricated double skin pipelines fully compliant with isometric drawings and project specifications
• Comprehensive welding inspection and testing including RT PT VT and hydrotesting
• On-site installation with technical supervision and quality control
